SOLD Primitive Folk Art Cloth Doll

SOLD

I bought this homemade cloth to study from Edyth O'Neill.   I bought her because the hands and the north-south feet are charming.  Her almost faceless concentration is appealing.  Those piercing penciled dot eyes!  This doll is made with a kind of twill flannel fabric.  She is about 21" tall.   She is sold as is, with no return.

The hands especially appeal to me with their folky-ness.

Please note the body is stained and repaired.  No odors. See the left arm in particular has repairs.  The right arm needs resewing at one spot.  I will leave that to the buyer.  She is loosely stuffed with cotton.

The triangular points is an interesting design.

Note wear at fingers.

A doll similar to this recently sold on Ebay for over $700.
